Beaconfall
A downloadable game for Windows
Beaconfall is, for the moment, a prototype game where you run from an approaching... uh... "darkness," and try to get to a far away beacon.
While this project is currently in it's pre-alpha "prototype" phase, I do hope to develop this game into a full release. More than anything, this page is a way for me to track and share progress on it.
Currently, this game will only run on Windows. It was created in C++ and uses OpenGL, as well as a custom sound library I made called FCAL. You can download and play it if you want (though what's here as of right now is more of a proof of concept than anything else), or check on the devlog, which will be updated periodically (I'm shooting for twice a week).
Other libraries I used: GLEW & GLFW.
Before downloading this game, I recommend giving the first devlog a read through for context.
Update (02/09/2024): This game is no longer in active development.
